For the oral presentation I will show the results of an early research about the implementation of the gender perspective in the Education of Adults in Argentina, especially in Geography. In 2006 was sanctioned the Law 26,150, which establishes the right to receive Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE). Consequently, the educational institutions have the responsibility to explicitly provide sexual education articulating biological, psychological, health, socio-cultural, legal, affective and ethical aspects of sexuality. The sanction of this law qualifies Argentina as a pioneer country in the Latin American region in terms of Gender and Education. But the implementation of this Law in Adult Geography Education is diverse. Consequently, I analyzed the implementation of the comprehensive perspective of sexuality in the Education of Adults in Argentina, especially in Geography, for the period between 2006 and 2022. The analysis was focused on tertiary and university teacher training institutions in Geography in Argentina. For this, a survey was carried out of all the Adult Education Institutions in Geography in the country and was counted which of them incorporate CSE in their curricula. At the same time, a qualitative study was carried out on the following analysis variables: the sex education paradigm they adopt; if the gender perspective includes transgender and non-binary people; if they incorporate an intersectionality perspective; and the topics they teach. I will also present the result of a qualitative study on the experiences of those adults who received education on sexuality in tertiary and university institutions of Geography. I will reflect on the need to incorporate CSE into the Education of Adults as one of the conditions of possibility to enable spaces for reflection on gender gaps. To conclude, I will highlight the challenges presented by the possible, and also necessary, crossovers between Adult Education in Geography and the CSE.
