Since mobility habits, needs and preferences of children and youth are often forgotten in planning and decision-making processes, CES4Kids focuses on listening and understanding school pupils’ demands, as well as empowering future generations to participate in the mobility planning of their municipalities._x000D_

CES4Kids is based on the creation of educational content about sustainable mobility to be used in class, as well as the celebration of awareness-raising events and hands-on learning activities where pupils can put into practice the acquired knowledge. _x000D_

CES4Kids aims to deliver a participatory experience for children and youth in the co-creation of sustainable mobility planning through an empowerment process which will help them to understand the determinants which affect their own daily mobility habits and will later provide them the chance to elaborate, debate and prioritise their own proposals on how to improve the urban design and mobility services in the urban environment surrounding their school. _x000D_

At the same time, the project enables cities, academia and industry actors to gain valuable data and knowledge about the mobility habits of children and youth in order to be able to design more suitable solutions for them.
